Business Analyst

This Business Analyst post at New City College leads business improvement and change work across the whole College. The role involves mapping and analysing processes, systems and performance data to find efficiency and service gains, then running projects through to evaluation. It suits someone who can coach colleagues in lean and continuous improvement methods within an education setting. Enhanced DBS clearance and UK right to work are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

What the job involves

• Lead business improvement projects from scoping and process mapping through to implementation and evaluation
• Analyse processes, systems and performance data to find efficiency and service improvements
• Work with managers and stakeholders to review current practice and deliver lasting change
• Use data and meaningful metrics to measure the impact of improvement initiatives
• Run workshops, engage stakeholders and help teams adopt new ways of working
• Develop tools, frameworks and resources that promote continuous improvement across the College
• Coach and support colleagues in lean thinking, business analysis and continuous improvement methods

• Experience delivering successful business improvement or change projects

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to influence and gain engagement
• Organised, commercially aware and results-driven
