Single Skilled Engineer

Were looking for a hands-on Single Skilled Engineer to help keep our Ballymena production site running safely, efficiently and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement across reliability, efficiency and productivity.
• Work across mechanical and electrical tasks as qualified and authorised.
• Use CMMS accurately and follow GMP, food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Follow Permit to Work, isolation and lock-off procedures.

About you

• Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering background.
• 17th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable for electrical candidates.
• 23 years experience in a maintenance engineering, craftsperson or technician role.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.

Overtime is paid at OT1.5 unless it is a Sunday and then it is OT2.
