Senior Baker / Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Senior Cake Maker & Bakery Manager to lead our bakery team. This is a hands-on role for someone who not only has exceptional cake-making and decorating skills but also the leadership ability to manage daily operations, maintain high standards, and inspire creativity in the kitchen.

Duties

• Create and design high-quality cakes and baked goods with attention to detail and artistry in our signature fancy little bakes style.
• Ensure every order meets our quality and presentation standards.
• Manage the bakery’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate our small team.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Work closely with management to develop new products, seasonal specials, and custom designs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation.

Skills

• Friendly, professional, and confident with customers.
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Extensive experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen environment.
• a minimum of 2 years experience in creating custom cakes.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and collaboration.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both food preparation and kitchen management.
