PrioryHospital Ticehurst This is a full-time I 37.5-hourrole I OnsiteSalary £39,140FTEPriory HospitalTicehurst House’s Highlands Unit is a welcoming, nine-bed facility,offering person-centred care, treatment and support for adultsfacing mental health challenges.
It is situated in a character building, within ourextensive main grounds, in the beautiful East Sussex countryside.We can support people with a range of mental health conditions,including depression, anxiety, stress and post-traumatic stressdisorder (PTSD).
What you’llbe doing
You will be part of acompassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. Wetake a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help peoplemove forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfillingfuture. You will play a key part in their recovery, assistingqualified staff with the assessment and implementation ofindividual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks andactivities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing,dignity and treatment of patients.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based CBT and/or DBTinterventions to adults and/or young people in line with Priorycare pathways and best-practice guidelines
- Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, andclinical formulations to support safe and effective treatmentplanning
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timelyclinical documentation in accordance with Priory policies,safeguarding standards, and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team,contributing to care reviews, outcome monitoring, and serviceimprovement initiatives
- Participate in regularclinical supervision, reflective practice, and continuousprofessional development in line with Priory values

Whatyou’ll bring to the role
Our work isrewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two daysare the same! Your natural empathy will help you support othersthrough both the highs and lows. Thesuccessful candidate will be a qualified and accredited CBT and/orDBT Therapist with relevant professional registration (such asBABCP, HCPC, or equivalent). You will have experience deliveringtherapeutic interventions to adults and/or young people within amental health or CAMHS setting, with a strong understanding of riskassessment, safeguarding, and evidence-based practice. Excellentcommunication and report-writing skills are essential, along withthe ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Experience working within a Priory or similar independenthealthcare setting would be desirable.
