Are you a Real Estate insurance leader who wants to build something rather than just run it?
IDEX Consulting is partnering with a well-established and ambitious UK insurance group to appoint a Head of Real Estate. You’ll lead the creation of a national Real Estate division with the backing of a major platform.
The opportunity
The business already has a strong Real Estate presence across its regional network, with established client relationships and real expertise. It now needs a leader to bring that together into a specialist, joined-up proposition and take it to the next level.
This isn’t about centralising client relationships or disrupting successful regional teams. It’s about building a specialist capability that supports the regions and opens up new growth. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape the strategy, the proposition and the investment behind it.
What you’ll do
- Develop and lead the UK Real Estate growth strategy
- Build a clear, compelling specialist proposition for the property market
- Work with regional leaders and Account Executives to grow existing portfolios
- Build relationships with property owners, investors, developers and managing agents
- Attract high-calibre talent to strengthen technical and business development capability
- Develop strong insurer relationships so clients get competitive, innovative solutions
- Drive organic growth through new business, cross-selling and strategic accounts
- Shape the future direction and structure of the division.
What you’ll bring
- A strong background in UK Real Estate insurance broking at senior, divisional or client-facing level
- An established network across the property and insurance markets
- A proven record of winning new business and building profitable client relationships
- The commercial ability to turn strategy into results
- Experience leading or influencing high-performing teams
- A collaborative style suited to a regional business structure
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to build long-term value
