Part-Time Year 5/6 Teacher – Maternity Cover

Duration: Approximately 10 months
Days: 1-2 days per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5/6 Teacher to join a welcoming school in the DN6 area from September 2026, providing maternity cover for approximately 10 months.
The role will be 1-2 days per week and would suit an experienced primary teacher looking for a part-time opportunity within a supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching across Key Stage 2, ideally within Years 5 and 6
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Be organised, reliable and adaptable
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative school team
