Project Manager

Overview

As Facility Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery and performance of a key naval production facility within an Integrated Project Team. You’ll coordinate planning, production, engineering, quality and support functions to ensure safe, on-time delivery across multiple ships. You’ll balance capacity, drive improvements in productivity and quality, and enable successful programme delivery and growth through data‑driven decisions. This role combines leadership with a collaborative, purpose‑driven environment at BAE Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Facility Integrated Project Team to meet delivery objectives
• Manage facility performance ensuring safe, efficient and on-time execution of work
• Balance workload, capacity and resources across programmes and priorities
• Drive productivity, quality and operational performance improvements
• Monitor risks, constraints and opportunities and implement mitigation actions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integrated delivery and operational readiness

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading complex projects or operational delivery in manufacturing, engineering or construction
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management with ability to influence multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated capability in planning, performance management, risk management and delivery of business objectives
