Project Manager

Overview

As Project Manager you act as the accountable delivery lead for IT projects within the IT Services Project Portfolio, steering change and transformation for the University. You collaborate with sponsors, delivery leaders, governance bodies and IT PMO to realise business outcomes through technology-enabled change. You manage scope, governance, budgets and resource planning across the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and clear stakeholder updates. This role offers a dynamic, inclusive environment with opportunities to shape how technology supports education, research and campus operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful impact at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology-enabled change and transformation across the University
• Ensure project governance requirements are satisfied and drive decision points with stakeholders
• Identify and manage changes to project scope and communicate impacts on plan, cost and resources
• Create budgets and resource schedules based on scope and required assets
• Provide communications and reporting to stakeholders and governance bodies to maintain project controls
• Develop and complete project documentation (briefs, business cases, analyses, designs) for implementation or replacement of products/services
