Senior Procurement Manager

Overview

Senior Procurement Manager within the Project Procurement team, responsible for leading a small procurement subcontracting group to deliver high-value missile-related systems. You will negotiate critical supplier contracts, provide commercial guidance, and ensure lifecycle subcontracts align with project needs. The role involves close collaboration with internal customers and suppliers to drive on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery while managing risk. This is a leadership role that shapes procurement frameworks across in-service support projects in a defence context.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage a team of procurement specialists
• subcontract suppliers and craft key contractual terms
• negotiate supplier contracts and T&Cs
• provide commercial guidance to internal customers
• manage risk and opportunity to safeguard MBDA interests
• deliver procurement support to project teams at senior levels
• manage lifecycle of subcontracts across missile systems projects
• ensure compliance with functional and project requirements
• support new business tendering and competitive procurement efforts
