n We are recruiting for a highly visible Senior Financial Accountant position with a successful international organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys getting into the detail whilst also influencing business decisions and driving process improvements.

Working as part of a collaborative international finance team, you will take ownership of financial reporting and tax compliance activities across multiple European entities. This is a hands-on role where you will have significant responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact.

The Opportunity

n

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, supporting strategic projects and acting as a key finance contact across the business.n Key responsibilities include:

n

• Leading monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities

n

• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls

n

• Supporting year-end accounts and audit processes

n

• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting

n

• Driving finance process improvements and reporting efficiencies

n

• Managing VAT, PAYE and corporate tax compliance requirements

n

• Advising on tax implications of business decisions and projects

n

• Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and authorities

n

• Leading transfer pricing calculations and documentation

n

• Contributing to business change and finance transformation initiatives

n

About You

n

We're keen to speak with technically strong accountants who enjoy a varied role and want exposure across both financial accounting and tax will ideally have:

n

n
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification

n

• Strong financial accounting experience within a complex business environment

n

• Exposure to UK tax compliance, corporation tax, VAT or transfer pricing

n

• Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP system experience

n

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability

n

• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently

n

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across international teams

n

n
