About the role:

Justteachers is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate KS3 SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Rugby. This exciting opportunity is due to start in September 2026 and is ideal for a teacher committed to supporting pupils with additional learning needs within a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to KS3 pupils with SEN
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and parents
• Manage classroom behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching KS3 students within SEN or mainstream settings
• Strong understanding of SEN teaching approaches and differentiation
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient, and adaptable attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
