We are working with a well-established manufacturing business seeking a Production Shift Manager to lead and drive operational performance across its production function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, improve processes and ensure production operations run safely, efficiently and effectively.
The Role:
Lead and manage shift operations, ensuring production, quality, safety and service targets are achieved.
Drive operational performance through KPI monitoring, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Lead, motivate and develop Production Supervisors and wider production teams.
Manage labour planning, shift cover, production schedules and operational resources.
Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality teams to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
Champion Health & Safety, GMP, HACCP and compliance standards.
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve productivity and optimise manufacturing processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous management or supervisory experience within FMCG manufacturing.
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Experience working within a Lean manufacturing environment.
A track record of driving operational improvements and delivering against KPIs.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety, quality and regulatory standards.
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights and weekends.
