Grafters Recruit require Warehouse operatives for our client in Hemel Hempstead, to work on rotating day or Night shifts. You will have to have previous experience in a warehouse environment and operating PPT, Couter Balance & Reach Forklift .
Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.This role will require people who are physically fit as items a can be heavy.You will need to have safety boot and Hi-Viz40 – 48 hour working weekPay Rates £13.45The shift is day/pm rotate 06:00 14:00 Monday – Friday, 14:00 22:00 Monday – Friday and 22:00 – 06:00 Sunday – ThursdayReporting to the warehouse supervisorWorking in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of WorkLoading vehicles ready for customer deliveriesEnsuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care so it arrives at our customers in perfect conditionOperating Mechanical Handling Equipment and Reach FLT and Counter balanceChecking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatchEnsuring high standards are met in line with Ikeas quality processesA range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and siteRelevant skills and experience as a Warehouse Colleague:Previous experience within warehousing is essentialThe ability to read and understand instructionsThe ability to count accuratelyHave the appropriate hand, eye and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipmentFLT Reaach Licence or Counter balance in date RTITB/ITSAR compliant.PPT Experience essentialYou will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to workPhysically able to assist in the movement of goods which may include bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting in line with Health and Safety regulations
