Salaried GP | up to £12,500 per session | 15-minute appointments | 4-6 sessions
Background
This is a genuinely civilised General Practice opportunity, built around a light touch duty model, a protected team catch up every day, and strong external support that takes much of the day to day acute and home visiting burden away from GPs. Four sessions to start, covering Thursday and Friday, with a third day also available for the right person.
Location
The practice is based in a small Surrey village on the edge of open heathland, within easy reach of the M3, M25 and A3 corridor. Woking is around a 15-minute drive away, with Camberley and Guildford both under 30 minutes.
The Practice FY2 Teaching Practice, with scope to build this further and an aspiration for a GP Trainer to host Registrars. Backed by a local integrated care service providing same day acute appointments, first contact physiotherapy, and a paramedic led home visiting service, reducing GP facing workload.
A working day built around genuine protected time, with hours of 9am to 5.30pm on non duty days and a scheduled team catch up slot built in.
Light touch duty commitment, with Friday duty falling only once a fortnight and a triage and signpost model rather than seeing every patient in person.
Practice actively investing in itself, with AI assisted triage software due to go live later in 2026. Mid-sized practice with a strong partnership team and a salaried GP team, the shortest tenure in which being 10 years. CQC Good across the board.
Your Role
- 4-6 sessions, covering at least Thursdays and Fridays
- Minimum of two years’ post CCT experience required
- Genuine scope to shape the role, with interests in GP Training, minor surgery, coil and implant fitting, or cervical smear taking all warmly welcomed
- Partnership not guaranteed but open to discussion in time for the right person
You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
