Temporary Facilities Assistant required for Holywood Co Down

Salary: £29,071 per annum Temporary Assignment with Potential for Extension Monday to Friday

Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Temporary Facilities Assistant to join a busy and professional organisation based in Holywood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up rooms and event spaces, including moving tables and chairs
• Preparing meeting and event areas, including arranging pre-prepared food and refreshments
• Assisting with the movement and distribution of supplies across the site
• Carrying out building and cleaning inspections to ensure high standards are maintained
• Escorting and assisting contractors around the premises
• Supporting kitchen and canteen areas, including light cleaning and stock replenishment
• Assisting with the management of bin stores and waste disposal areas
• General facilities support duties as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, hospitality, cleaning, warehouse, or a similar support role
• Able to undertake manual handling activities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach
• Reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
