Cover Supervisor

About the role

• We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team of staff, where the education, pastoral care and welfare of the pupils and students are paramount.
• The primary role of the successful candidate will be to cover classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• A teaching qualification is not essential and no specific academic qualifications are required. However, an ability to facilitate high quality learning within the classroom is essential.
• The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate initiative, sensitivity and commitment to the role and the staff team.

Contract and hours

Contract: Permanent, term-time only

Hours: 08:30 to 16:00, 5 days per week = 35 hours per week

Pay

Grade 6a, Point 11-16

FTE: £29,069 per annum

Pro rata: £22,226

Hourly Rate: Point 11 – £14.91
