Lumacon Accolade Group is seeking a proactive, commercially minded and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee and drive the day‑to‑day operations of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, managing people and ensuring that business operations run efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s continued development, bringing structure, leadership and a hands‑on approach to a varied and dynamic working environment.
While experience in the marine industry would be an advantage, it is by no means essential. We are very interested in hearing from candidates with strong operational management experience in other sectors who can bring fresh perspectives, relevant expertise and transferable skills to our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the day‑to‑day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, productivity and high standards.
- Manage and support operational teams, providing clear direction, leadership and accountability.
- Develop, implement and improve operational processes, systems and procedures.
- Coordinate resources, schedules, suppliers and workflows to ensure projects and activities run smoothly.
- Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement practical solutions.
- Manage budgets, costs and resources, ensuring operational targets are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, procedures, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Work closely with senior management to support business planning, growth and strategic objectives.
- Take a hands‑on approach to resolving operational challenges and ensuring the business delivers on its commitments.
About You
- An experienced operations manager, or an individual ready to take the next step into a broader operational leadership role.
- Highly organised, with excellent planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
- A confident people manager who can motivate, support and develop a team.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of budgets, costs and business performance.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- A strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Practical and solutions‑focused, with a willingness to get involved and lead by example.
- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions while balancing competing priorities.
Industry Experience
Marine industry experience is welcome but not essential.
