Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage multiple cross-functional R&D and product development projects at Cytiva, guiding initiatives from initiation to completion. You will coordinate local and global teams, translate priorities into actionable plans, and drive delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. You’ll enable clear decisions and continuous improvement using structured problem solving. This is a hands-on position that connects technical work with broader business goals, delivering tangible impact in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and product management to drive multiple technical projects
• Serve as site coordination liaison, translating local requests into clear actions and owners
• Facilitate project reviews, decision-making, and structured problem-solving sessions
• Identify risks and execution barriers early; develop mitigation plans and escalate when needed
• Provide timely updates to sponsors and stakeholders; capture lessons learned to improve practices

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, bioprocessing, biotechnology, or related discipline
• Experience managing technical, R&D, product development, engineering, or operational improvement projects in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
• Knowledge of project planning, resource management, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Ability to guide teams, facilitate decisions, resolve roadblocks, and drive work to completion without direct reporting authority
• Fluent written and spoken English
