Overview

As a Supply Chain Specialist – Development at Morrisons Head Office, you will shape and implement process and system improvements to maximise product availability while minimising stock and waste. You’ll partner with senior development leadership, IT, and broader functions to deliver impactful projects on time and within budget. Your work will drive productivity and simplify processes through a culture of continuous improvement, ultimately supporting sales growth and profitability. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver process and system improvements to boost availability and reduce stock and waste
• Improve operational productivity for colleagues
• Provide systems and process support to supply chain teams to meet targets
• Identify simplifications and improvements within a continuous improvement culture
• Deliver projects within timescales and budget while mitigating risk
• Design and refine current and future state supply chain system requirements to meet objectives

Key requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of operational supply chain and its links to commercial, logistics, manufacturing and stores
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage others
• Ability to analyse complex data and draw actionable conclusions
• Ability to translate business strategy into defined project scope within timelines
• Background in operational supply chain (ideally FMCG)
• Previous experience of delivering projects in a similar context (incomplete sentence in source) unknown
