Responsibilities

• Lead land acquisitions and disposals for private developers and public sector clients
• Advise on greenfield and brownfield developments, turnkey and golden brick housing transactions
• Handle strategic land deals with planning, construction and energy colleagues
• Draft and negotiate Promotion, Option and Joint Venture Agreements
• Prepare Deeds of Conditions and DMS Deeds of Conditions
• Support corporate colleagues with property due diligence on corporate transactions
• Manage complex transactions and contribute to the development of junior team members

Key requirements

• Scottish-qualified Solicitor
• strong commercial property experience
• interest in developing career in this area
• experience in property development, investment, asset management or corporate property support
• strong technical ability, commercial awareness, drafting and negotiation skills
