Cyber Security Project Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead information security projects for a regulator, guiding delivery from initiation to implementation. You will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams to shape plans, track risks, and communicate progress. You’ll gather requirements when needed and support deployment across endpoint, mobile, and application security initiatives. The position blends project management with business analysis to drive secure, compliant outcomes and interaction with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver information security projects from initiation through to implementation
• Work closely with security, infrastructure, end-user computing, and business teams
• Coordinate project plans, RAID logs, governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications
• Gather and document business and technical requirements where required
• Support implementation activities across endpoint, mobile, and application security initiatives
• Ensure delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and decision-making across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Assist with vendor coordination and third-party engagement where applicable

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering Information Security or Cyber Security projects
• Strong Project Management and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
• Good understanding of core security principles and technologies
