Lead AI Engineer
Belfast | Permanent | Senior-Level Position
I’m looking for a Lead AI Enablement Engineer to join an established technology company in Belfast, and it’s a brilliant opportunity for a senior engineer who genuinely loves AI and wants to have a real say in how it’s used across an entire business.
This is one for those engineers who are constantly trying out the latest AI tools, experimenting with LLMs, building agents and thinking about what else is possible.
The company is already investing in AI, but there’s a huge opportunity for someone to come in, take ownership and really drive things forward.
You’ll be getting hands-on with AI tools, building integrations and workflows, exploring new technologies and working with teams across the business to turn ideas into something useful.
I’m keen to speak with senior software engineers who have moved into AI, particularly those with experience in LLMs, agentic AI, Python or TypeScript, APIs and cloud technologies.
What’s really exciting is that this isn’t a role where you’ll just be building something and moving on. You’ll get to see how your work is being used, help people get the most out of AI and play a big part in shaping what comes next.
There’s a great mix of hands-on engineering, technical leadership and freedom to explore new ideas, with the opportunity to make a real impact.
