Real Estate Solicitor – Milton Keynes

Overview

In this role you act as a Real Estate Solicitor within a leading national practice, handling a predominantly property-focused caseload for high-profile UK clients. You join a specialist team advising operators in the drinks, hospitality and leisure sectors on real estate matters. You will handle acquisitions, disposals, development and portfolio refinements, as well as routine estate management. The position offers hybrid working and exposure to operator-specific issues with support from specialists as needed. You will contribute to a culture that values diversity and inclusion while supporting a broad client network.

Responsibilities

• Freehold and leasehold site acquisitions and disposals
• Development and pre-let arrangements
• Portfolio re-gears
• Day-to-day estate management including L&T, licences, variations, easements and ancillary agreements

Key requirements

• 4+ years’ PQE
• interest in drinks, hospitality and leisure sector
• awareness of TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances and licensing/regulatory considerations

• Real estate law (freehold/leasehold transactions)
• Development and pre-let planning
• Estate management and licencing considerations
