Devtech Security Limited is a small, established and growing Fire & Security company based in the Glasgow area, carrying out work across Scotland.

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Alarm Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
n
n

The Role
n
n
You will work across a variety of commercial, industrial and domestic sites, carrying out:
n
n
– Installation of fire alarm, intruder alarm and CCTV systems
n
– Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
n
– Fault finding and repairs
n
– System testing and commissioning
n
– Alterations, upgrades and small works
n
– Completion of service and commissioning documentation
n
– Liaising professionally with customers and site personnel
n
– Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant British Standards and industry requirements
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
We are looking for an engineer with solid practical experience across:
n
n
Fire Alarm Systems
n
Experience installing, servicing, fault finding and commissioning conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
n
n
Intruder Alarm Systems
n
Experience installing, maintaining, fault finding and programming commercial intruder alarm systems.
n
n
CCTV
n
Experience with modern CCTV systems, including IP-based systems, installation, configuration and fault finding.
n
n
Experience with access control would also be advantageous.
n
n
The successful candidate should:
n
n
– Have previous experience working independently as a Fire & Security Engineer
n
– Have strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
n
– Be comfortable working on their own initiative
n
– Have a good understanding of relevant industry standards
n
– Take pride in producing a high standard of work
n
– Be professional when dealing with customers
n
– Be reliable and well organised
n
– Hold a full UK driving licence
n
