Domestic Assistant – At Glebedale School
At Glebedale School, we believe every role has a purpose – and as our new Domestic Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the young people we support.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, corridors, and shared areas
- Clean fixtures, fittings, floors, walls, and internal woodwork in line with cleaning schedules
- Maintain toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas to high standards
- Help with deep-cleaning programmes during school closures or designated breaks
- Collect and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
- Refill and replace supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
- Keep cleaning materials organised and stored securely
You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team where everyone’s contribution is valued – because we know a clean, safe school helps our young people feel calm, comfortable, and ready to learn.
