Your new role As a Recruiter, you’ll take ownership of sourcing, engaging and qualifying candidates across a range of specialist and technical markets. You’ll proactively identify both active and passive candidates, conduct screening calls, build and maintain talent pipelines, manage applications and support candidates throughout the recruitment process. You’ll also coordinate interviews, maintain accurate ATS records and support onboarding and compliance. This is a delivery-focused recruitment role with less emphasis on traditional 360 business development, allowing you to focus on finding great people and delivering against live and upcoming project requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience within recruitment, resourcing, talent acquisition or recruitment delivery.
- Strong sourcing skills with experience using LinkedIn, job boards, databases and direct approaches to engage candidates.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage candidates regularly by telephone.
- The ability to manage multiple recruitment requirements and adapt quickly as project priorities change.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, including experience maintaining accurate ATS or recruitment records.
- Experience recruiting within engineering, construction, energy, manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades or other technical markets would be advantageous, although broader recruitment backgrounds will be considered.
What you’ll get in return You’ll receive a salary of £32,000-£38,000, alongside a 10-15% bonus, private healthcare, pension, company laptop and phone. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with Monday to Thursday office-based in Newtownabbey and Friday working from home.
This is a particularly interesting move for a recruiter who enjoys sourcing, candidate engagement and delivery but wants to move away from the constant new-business pressures of a traditional 360 agency desk. You’ll join a growing recruitment function, gain exposure to major international projects across the UK, Europe and the USA, and have the opportunity to develop as the team continues to expand.
