IT Support EngineerSalary: £30,000 per annumFull-time

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their technical support team. This is a varied, customer-facing role involving remote and on-site support, troubleshooting, infrastructure maintenance and technical escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Microsoft, hardware, software, server and networking problems.
• Attend customer sites for support, consultancy and proactive maintenance.
• Manage and monitor servers, backups, networks, firewalls and security systems.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure and Windows Server.
• Monitor patching and alerts using RMM solutions.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support records.
• Assist with mentoring and developing Junior Engineers.

The Candidate:

• Strong Microsoft experience, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Good knowledge of networking and infrastructure.
• Experience providing on-site, customer-facing technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
