Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer
6-Month Contract | Up to £375 per day | Outside IR35 | Fully Remote (UK)
We’re working with a growing organisation that’s investing heavily in its digital platforms and ERP capability. They’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join them on an initial 6-month contract, supporting a major B2B ecommerce initiative and wider integration projects.
This is a hands-on development role where you’ll be enhancing the existing Business Central environment and helping integrate it with new platforms, including OroCommerce, a recently introduced B2B ecommerce solution.
You’ll work closely with the ERP Technical Lead, Product Managers and wider development teams, with the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions and help shape how Business Central connects with the wider technology landscape.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing, enhancing and maintaining AL extensions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Building and supporting integrations between Business Central and third‑party platforms, particularly OroCommerce.
- Developing APIs and web services to support data exchange between ERP and ecommerce systems.
- Delivering improvements across B2B pricing, ordering, customer management and sales processes.
- Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Contributing to solution design, testing, troubleshooting and the successful delivery of ERP enhancements.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands‑on experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Excellent AL development skills, including extensions and customisations.
- Proven experience building integrations using APIs and web services.
- Experience integrating Business Central with ecommerce platforms or other third‑party systems.
- Good understanding of ERP processes, ideally covering sales, orders, pricing and customer data.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and collaborating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Experience with OroCommerce or other B2B ecommerce platforms would be particularly beneficial, although it’s not essential.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in a significant ERP and ecommerce integration programme, working on meaningful technical challenges within a business that’s investing in its technology.
