About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to lead significant projects in Randburg . This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities to manage all phases of construction, from planning and execution to close-out. You will be responsible for project profitability, client satisfaction, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met. This is a critical leadership position within our client’s operations in Gauteng , offering the chance to shape major developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage and lead project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Control project costs and ensure profitability, managing variation orders and claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills . Proficiency in project management software.
