Job Title: Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction organisation delivering a major €30 million commercial development in Monaghan.
This is a senior project delivery role, responsible for overseeing the project from planning and coordination through to successful completion, ensuring it is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client, design team, commercial team, site management and supply chain, providing strong leadership and ensuring effective coordination across all aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for theday-to-day management and delivery of the project.
- Lead and coordinate the project team, including site management, engineers, commercial and support functions.
- Develop, monitor and drive theconstruction programme, ensuring key milestones and critical path activities are achieved.
- Coordinate effectively with theclient, consultants, design team and key stakeholders.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with agreed programmes, specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee project procurement, ensuring materials, labour and resources are available when required.
- Monitor project performance againstprogramme, budget, quality and contractual requirements.
- Ensure that all works are undertaken in accordance with relevanthealth & safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience managing commercial projects, ideally with experience on projects of similar scale and complexity.
- A strong track record of delivering projectson time, within budget and to specification.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning and programme management.
- Demonstrable experience managingsubcontractors, consultants, design teams and multiple project stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding ofhealth & safety and quality management within a construction environment.
- Relevant third-level qualification inConstruction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
