Chief Legal Officer – Scotland & UK Devolution Strategy

Ministry of Justice in the Office of the Advocate General for Scotland is seeking a Director and Solicitor to the Advocate General to lead a senior, highly specialised department and to steer strategic legal priorities across UK Government and Scotland.

You will head a team of about 50 FTEs, provide direct line management to four SCS1 division heads, and be the legal head responsible for delivering the AGS’s priorities, governance, and performance in devolved matters.
