Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) – Fully Remote
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: Ongoing Contract
Day Rate: £400-£450 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor to work fully remote on an ongoing contract basis. The project is a large industrial scheme so expereince wthin industrial & logistics projects would be desirable but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with a strong commercial background to take ownership of commercial activities, manage project costs and support the successful delivery of projects within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of industrial projects.
- Oversee cost planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Prepare and review applications for payment and ensure timely commercial reporting.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with project managers, clients and stakeholders to ensure effective cost control.
- Ensure contractual compliance and support the resolution of commercial issues.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within commercial, indutsrial sector.
- Strong commercial and contractual management experience.
- Experience managing project costs, subcontractors, variations and final accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fully remote environment.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience.
