HGV Class 1 Day & Night Drivers Full Time Ongoing – consistent work past ChristmasLocation: Severn Beach, BristolShift Pattern: 5 on / 3 off but can be flexible with shift patterns (Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday)Full-Time | Ongoing WorkBonus Scheme:Running from October 11th January 3rd. £90 paid per week for each week worked £50 paid within the week, with £40 banked and paid at the end of the scheme. This is dependent on absences, incidents and delivery performance.Day DriversPay Rate: £18.74 £21.89 per hourStart Times: Between 05:00 09:00This is a physically demanding role, and drivers must be prepared to handle a variety of goods.Duties include:
- Delivering products including white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges and freezers (not palletised)
- Handling TVs, microwaves and other electrical appliances (some palletised)
- Heavy lifting and manual handling required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely
Night DriversPay Rate: £19.79 £21.89 per hourStart Times: Between 17:00 21:00 or 21:00 00:00No handballing –Role details:
- Curtain-sided trailers
- Palletised loads requiring secure strapping
- No handballing
- Consistent ongoing work
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience – (Can accept with less experience if booked onto a day with our training academy)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Max 6 points (no DD, DR, IN or TT)
- Experience using curtain-sided trailers and securing palletised loads
- Strong knowledge of UK driving laws and compliance
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling where required
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Able to commit to a long-term ongoing role
