Workchain is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver to join a leading client in the Bedford area. This is an excellent opportunity offering long-term employment with the chance to secure a permanent position.
Don’t have your ADR qualification? If you’re an experienced Class 2 Driver, our client is willing to support the right candidate in gaining their ADR (Packages) qualification.
The Role
Delivering packaged hazardous goods to commercial customers.
Completing deliveries safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
Completing all transport documentation accurately.
Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time, ADR, and Health & Safety regulations.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
07:00 AM starts
10+ hour shifts
No weekend work
Salary & Benefits
£42,000 per annum
Temporary to permanent opportunity.
Long-term, full-time work.
Opportunity to gain your ADR (Packages) qualification if you’re an experienced Class 2 Driver without ADR.

Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph card.
ADR (Packages) licence preferred, but not essential for experienced Class 2 drivers willing to obtain the qualification.
Previous Class 2 driving experience.
Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
