Kneesworth Hospital islooking for an enthusiastic and dedicatedOccupational Therapist to join ourteam. This fixed-term role runs until August2027 and offers an exciting opportunity to make areal difference as part of a supportive multidisciplinaryteam.
PrioryHospital Kneesworth House, Royston, Hertfordshire is a level 2rehabilitation service providing a range of specialist recoverypathways for adults within a purpose-built facility. It isaccessible by public transport, with Royston railway stationapproximately 2–3 miles from the service and limited local buslinks. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle orthe ability to drive isrecommended.
What you’ll bedoing
In this role, you will play akey part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment anddelivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity,respect, and high standards of care.
- Develop and deliver personalised occupational therapytreatment plans to support patient recovery andwellbeing.
- Assess patient needs, deliverindividual and group therapy, and maintain accurate clinicalrecords.
- Support, supervise and mentor juniormembers of the occupational therapy team.
- Workcollaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring highstandards of care and compliance.
- Promoteoccupational therapy services and contribute to the development ofthe local service.
- Build strong relationshipswith patients, families and carers, ensuring effectivecommunication throughout rehabilitation.

Whatyou’ll bring to the role
Essential for theroleCandidates must be HCPC registered andhold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree(including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduatediploma, or Master’s pre-registration qualification in OccupationalTherapy)
