I am delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a highly regarded nursing care provider across County Down.
This established provider operates multiple nursing homes, delivering high-quality care across a range of services, including dementia care, elderly care and support for individuals with physical disabilities.
We are now seeking a dedicated Peripatetic Staff Nurse Nights to join the team, providing nursing support across different homes within the County Down area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys variety, working across different care settings and making a real difference to residents and their families.
With an excellent RQIA track record and a strong reputation within the local community, the provider is committed to maintaining high standards of resident care and creating a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

For this role, you will need:
- An active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- An unrestricted nursing pin
- UK Driving Licence + Access to a Car
- Active UK NMC pin
- And prior Nursing experience in a Nursing home Environment in the UK

The role:
- Motivating patients to help restore and improve their health and self-esteem
- Providing medication to patients and providing pre- and post-operation care
- Providing psychological and physical support to parents, family members and friends
- Identifying patient care requirements
- Assuring the quality of care to patients through adhering to therapeutic standards
- Ensuring that patients and fellow employees adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medicine storage and administration procedures and substance control regulations
- Evaluating patients who complain of specific aliments
- Examining and authenticating vaccination records
