Meet Our ClientYou will be supporting a lady who lives with her son. Her primary illness is spinal injury and autonomic dysreflexia. She is a positive and social person. She is an open minded, fun person who is very thoughtful and patient with other people. She has a little dog, who likes to go out for a walk.This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone to live as independently as possible while respecting their routine and choices.About the Role
- Providing support with daily routines and activities
- Personal care and medication support
- Supporting with cooking, household tasks, and light admin
- Supporting appointments, outings, and social activities
- Encouraging engagement in interests and hobbies
About You
- Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship or work visas
- Friendly, patient, and well organised
- Care experience Essential
- Knowledge in Spinal Injury Care desirable
- Comfortable working around dogs
- Comfortable working within a smoking environment
- Committed to providing safe, respectful, and consistent support
