School Bus Driver – Renfrew

Core Duties

n

n
• Transport Pupils: Drive council minibuses to pick up and drop off children and young people for school and educational activities.

n

• Passenger Safety: Ensure the welfare, safety, and secure boarding/unboarding of all passengers during transit.

n

• Vehicle Maintenance: Check fuel levels, oil, and tyre pressure, and keep the minibus clean and tidy.

n

n

Health and Compliance: Follow all council health and safety rules, smoke-free policies, and safeguarding guidelines.

n

n

Requirements and Qualifications

n

n
• Driving Licence: Hold a valid UK driving licence with Category D or D1 entitlement.

n

• Clearance: Pass background checks, such as a PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) scheme record where required. (paid by us)
