What you’ll do
The Ultimate Leaders Programme is a dynamic opportunity underpinnedaround our ‘We Care’ culture designed to fast-track you in achieving asupervisory role upon completion of the programme. During the programme youwill work in one of our world renowned hotels and will be supported by oursenior leaders, to develop the technical and behavioural skills aligned tobecoming a hospitality specialist.
During your time as a ULP you will also gain exposure of an array oftraining material delivered by our Learning & Development team, supportedthrough our Dorchester Collection Learning Academy. When you join us as a ULPyou will have the opportunity to work across our Dorchester Collection UKhotels, you may decide to be based in the town at The Dorchester or 45 ParkLane, in the country at Coworth Park or even decide the combination of both ortaking our extended 18 month programme based in the town and country withaccommodation support provided, depending on where your heart lies.
As a Food & Beverage Management Graduate, you’lllove what you do and take pride in taking care of our guests:
- Dependingon your choice of programme you will complete 12 months of two six-monthrotations in an operational department in our Food & Beverage division
- Bring extraordinaryguest experiences to life through your vibrant personality and expertise,as our guests trust that you are informed and able to enhance theirexperience whether in Food and Beverage or Rooms division.
- Connectwith our Senior Leadership team through mentorship from the ExecutiveCommittee for networking, support and guidance to become a legendaryleader.
- Partnerwith our L&D team for regular 1-2-1, training and workshops to developyou into a highly skilled leader to lead and motivate teams to deliver theultimate guest experience.
- Participatein a variety of taskforce opportunities across Dorchester Collection andevents such as Chelsea Flower Show and Royal Ascot.
- AttendFinance and Revenue (budget and P&L), Sales, People & Culture,Corporate office and guest experience sessions as learning is theforefront of each Dorchester Collection hotel.
- Work onspecific industry and development projects including a personal focus andbusiness focus project.
- Attend atrip to Switzerland where you will receive a Global Management Certificatein Leading and Embracing Organizational Change from Swiss EducationGroup.
- Workyour way up from front line to a supervisory role and graduate into afull-time permanent position at one of our three hotels.
