Purpose : Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities, to join the team in our Plymouth store.
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.11 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants / Key Holders, play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 10 hours per week.

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.
As a Key Holder you will be a trustworthy individual, responsible for the following key activities.
Key activities :
- Open & close the store as and when required.
- Being responsible for a set of store keys.
- Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
- Serving customers at the till – processing sales transactions.
- Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
- Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
- Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
- Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
- Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
Personal characteristics :

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
- The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
- Methodical approach to completing daily tasks – including stock SKU management.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
- The commitment to work 10 hours per week and the flexibility to work any day (Monday – Sunday).
Salary/Pay : up to £13.11 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
