Overview
In this role you will lead a school construction project as No.1 Site Manager, ensuring delivery of a 2 million new build block with demolition works. You will work closely with the client and cross-functional teams to maintain safety, quality, and schedule on a education-focused site. You’ll apply your experience with new build and refurbishment in a reputable contracting environment to drive successful project outcomes in the Surrey area. This is a permanent role with exposure to two-stage D&B procurement and a variety of public and private clients, offering a clear development path and a strong industry reputation.

Responsibilities
- lead on-site delivery for education project (2m new build block)
- manage health & safety and site paperwork to a high standard
- maintain client-facing communications and manage core stakeholders
- coordinate demolition works and early project activities
- ensure project milestones are met within budget and quality standards
- oversee two-stage D&B procurement processes
- strong people management and site team leadership
Key requirements
- track record on education projects with a reputable main contractor
- experience delivering new build and refurbishment works up to 5m
- understanding of two-stage D&B procurement
- strong HSE record and thorough site paperwork
- presentable with client-facing skills
