Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager – Associate Director (CI&U – PMCM)

Overview

In this role you will contribute to pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying and Cost & Commercial Management for diverse projects. You will be part of the PMCM team, delivering cost control, procurement, and financial management while supporting project delivery. Depending on seniority, you may lead projects, mentor staff, contribute to bid writing, and represent WSP at industry events. You will work across iconic infrastructure and building programs, leveraging a global network to drive value and quality. This is an opportunity to shape major projects within a collaborative, inclusive culture and to progress toward chartership and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Estimation, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance, and post-contract financial/commercial management for projects
• Delivery of QS/commercial projects and potential team leadership
• Training and mentoring staff, bid writing, and contributing to winning work
• Representing WSP UK at industry events
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project costs and commercial performance

Key requirements

• MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards a professional qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in QS/Cost and Commercial competencies
• Senior-level management, project leadership, and delivery experience where applicable
• Ability to work in the UK without restrictions and willingness to undertake SC level clearance
