Overview

In this role you will provide senior-level financial, commercial and strategic advice to local and regional government clients, leading complex projects and building lasting client relationships. You will develop financial models, business cases and policy analysis to support investment, regeneration and devolution agendas. You’ll work in a dynamic EY-Parthenon team focused on delivering social value and sustainable infrastructure outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership position with opportunities to shape sector thinking and client strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert financial, commercial and strategic advice to clients on transactions and policy projects
  • Manage complex projects and programmes with tight governance
  • Build and interrogate financial models and data structures including sensitivity analyses
  • Create business cases with economic and financial evaluation
  • Support clients in achieving financial sustainability of services
  • Present impactful reports to senior stakeholders to enable decision-making
  • Drive business development and contribute to EY’s growth strategies
  • Lead origination and sales efforts and mentor junior team members
  • Develop sector thought leadership and shape EY’s view on policy and market developments
  • Build senior client relationships across local authorities and government bodies
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues

Key requirements
