Overview
As Project Manager on the Hinkley Point C programme, you will oversee delivery of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities to time, cost and quality targets. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage risks and stakeholders, and ensure safe, compliant execution aligned with the programme execution plan. This role sits within a world-class team delivering a nationally significant project, offering impact across scope, safety and performance. You will help translate strategy into actionable plans while maintaining lessons-learnt and best practice across the project.

Responsibilities
- Secure resources and maintain SQEP, addressing shortfalls within the project team
- Develop and implement strategies and plans aligned with the overall Programme Execution Plan
- Maintain effective stakeholder communications and execute project strategies
- Deliver contract/package activities safely, on time, and within budget and technical requirements
- Monitor progress against milestones, deadlines and budget; report to key stakeholders
- Identify and manage risks, resolve issues, update programme budget, escalate when needed
- Collaborate with construction to develop/maintain schedules consistent with overall project timelines
- Incorporate lessons learnt and knowledge capture as business as usual
- Interface with other programmes to share progress and adopt best practices
- Ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled and escalate where necessary
Key requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in complex projects
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations
- Strong numeracy, analytical and critical reasoning skills
- Proficient in estimating, scheduling, programming, risk management
- Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills
- Understanding of nuclear quality assurance requirements
- Experience in engineering design, contract and field execution strategies
- Experience with multi-discipline EPCM projects and complex contracts
- Cost, risk, schedule and change control experience
- Commercial claims management and negotiation experience
- Stakeholder engagement across contractors, consultants and advisors in regulated environments
- Experience operating under NEC and FIDIC commercial arrangements
