Corporate Lawyer 3-5 PQE – Swindon

Overview

In this role you will work with business owners, corporates and growth-focused entrepreneurs on a range of corporate matters. You join a friendly, ambitious and collaborative team within a regional firm looking to expand its market presence. You will handle high-quality corporate work and support the team’s growth and strategy, while developing specialist interests. Responsibilities

• Handle acquisitions and disposals, MBOs and founder exits
• Draft and advise on shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures
• Work on early-stage and private equity investments
• Manage group reorganisations and governance matters
• Prepare and provide general company law advisory support
• Own smaller matters and assist senior lawyers on complex transactions
• Participate in business development and relationship-building events

Key requirements

• 3-5 PQE in corporate law
• Experience from a corporate or commercial law firm
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
• Interest in business development
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Team player who builds trusted relationships in a fast-paced environment
