Acquisition Program Support

Overview

As Site Lead for Hybrid SATCOM, you drive on-site program execution and stakeholder coordination across government, Leidos leadership, and contract teams. You oversee acquisition planning, integration, sustainment, and operational support for mission-critical SATCOM capabilities. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, and contractors to deliver integrated solutions and timely program outcomes. This role places you at the center of cross-functional execution in a dynamic government program environment. You will shape program status reporting, risk assessments, and strategic delivery to help mission-critical communications stay resilient.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for government customers, Leidos leadership, and contract personnel supporting Hybrid SATCOM operations.
• Assist the Program Manager with overall program execution, governance, and delivery.
• Lead day-to-day program activities aligned with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate engineering, technical, and operational teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Oversee on-site contract personnel to meet objectives, deliverables, and customer requirements.
• Support development and management of acquisition documentation, schedules, reports, and briefing materials.
• Monitor milestones, risks, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
• Facilitate coordination among government stakeholders, engineering teams, SATCOM providers, subcontractors, and operations staff.
• Support contract management activities including staffing, deliverable tracking, resource management, and reporting.
• Assist with meeting planning, agenda setting, and customer engagement for Hybrid SATCOM operations.
• Ensure compliance with program policies, cybersecurity, security procedures, quality standards, and processes.
• Prepare and deliver program status updates, risk assessments, and management reports to leadership.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience leading complex teams with multiple subcontractors.
• Background in federal DoD acquisition, program management, SATCOM, telecommunications, or mission support.
• Leadership experience in team-leading or site-lead roles with customer-facing duties.
• Knowledge of Hybrid SATCOM concepts, acquisition lifecycle, and operational support processes.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities; adaptable communication style.
