Finance Lead

Overview

As Finance Lead, you will provide strategic financial insight, governance and oversight for the Transformation Through Collaboration (TTC) Programme across three councils. You will establish robust financial frameworks, model costs and benefits, and deliver high-quality reporting to enable informed decisions. You’ll work with service leads and governance teams to ensure accuracy, transparency and value delivery. This role offers impact through a high-profile regional transformation that shapes public service provision.

Responsibilities

• Establish robust financial frameworks for programme delivery
• Develop and implement cost models for new service delivery approaches
• Provide high-quality financial reporting to the TTC Board
• Track financial benefits, identify risks and maintain financial integrity
• Support development of cost and benefit-sharing models
• Collaborate with service leads and governance teams to align with strategic objectives
• Challenge financial assumptions to ensure transparency and accountability
• Influence senior stakeholders and ensure cross-authority coordination
