Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for grant-funded programmes across multiple countries. You will partner with senior leaders and international stakeholders to deliver robust management reporting, financial controls and donor reporting. The role includes overseeing month-end and audit processes, managing cash flow and financial risk, and driving governance improvements. You will contribute strategically in a mission-driven, globally operating charity and help enable responsible growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Produce insightful management accounts and financial analysis
• Oversee month-end, year-end and audit processes
• Manage grant and donor reporting requirements
• Oversee cash flow, reserves and financial risk management
• Partner with senior leadership and programme teams
• Drive process improvement and strengthen financial governance

Key requirements

• CCAB-qualified accountant (essential)
• Proven Finance Manager/Head of Finance level experience
• Strong background in charity/NGO/international development or grant-funded sector
• Experience of donor-funded programmes and grant reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable working across multiple entities, countries and time zones
