Responsibilities

• Lead a wide range of utility projects from local schemes to nationally significant initiatives
• Coordinate and design multi-utility infrastructure, guiding masterplanning and integration across disciplines
• Manage project delivery within cross‑functional UK and international teams
• Serve as senior client contact on key projects and drive client relationships
• Support business growth by leveraging existing clients and developing new ones
• Mentor and develop junior staff within the team
• Ensure high quality service delivery and uphold professional reputation
• Oversee project/programme management and drive effective problem solving

Key requirements

• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Engineer status
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and infrastructure strategies in the UK
• Knowledge of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecommunications networks in relation to new development
• Experience with Multi-Utility / iDNO / ICP and related commercial risks/opportunities
• Ability to develop utility demand calculations for developments
• Proven leadership of teams and concurrent project management
• Excellent communication for co‑professional engagement and reporting
• Experience directing BIM teams (AutoCAD / Civils 3D / Revit) for quality design outputs
• Strong client relationship skills
• UK Security Check (SC) eligibility
