Activity Manager

Overview

As Activity Manager in Glasgow, you lead a high-performing manufacturing cell, ensuring targets are met and processes are optimised. You’ll drive operational excellence with cross-functional teams and develop a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll own day-to-day operations, safety, and quality, shaping world-class manufacturing outcomes. Responsibilities

• Champion health, safety and environment by leading risk assessments, PPE compliance, training and hazard reporting
• Own quality control and ensure adherence to Thales standards and procedures (Chorus)
• Plan and deliver production schedules aligned to the Master Production Schedule and customer needs
• Monitor daily performance with KPIs and promote Lean and CI across the area
• Escalate production issues and implement corrective actions
• Lead, coach, and develop the team; support training, cross-skilling, and workforce planning
• Manage day-to-day people matters including performance, absence and shift planning
• Foster an inclusive culture aligned with Equality, Diversity & Inclusion values and support recruitment/onboarding

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading teams in manufacturing or production
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality standards, and operational KPIs
• Passion for continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing
